Ribery Adds Depth to Philanders XI

Bayern Munich and France midfielder Franck Ribery could be the man DFB is looking for to bolster its Philanderers XI.

The speedy and skilful left winger would fit right in our side of unfaithful, alongside countrymen Thierry Henry and Nicolas Anelka.

We knew we wouldn’t have to wait very long to add depth to our side and as is the nature of football stars getting caught out these days, it won’t be long until we have a reserves side.

Ribery, 27, who will start in Bayern Munich’s Champions League semi-final against Lyon Wednesday, could face a spell in prison for having sexual relations with an under-age prostitute.

It has been reported that Ribery was questioned by police investigating the affair last week and on Monday it emerged that he admitted having sexual relations with a prostitute, but denied knowing that she was a minor, according to judicial sources.

It is not yet known whether the judge leading the inquiry will bring charges against Ribery, who is married and has two daughters.

If charged and found guilty Ribery could face a maximum sentence of three years in prison and a fine of 45,000 euro.
