Oldham Offering Season Ticket Refund if England Wins World Cup

Go ahead and purchase those Oldham season tickets you’ve been on the
fence about buying. You’ll get your money back.

Maybe.

Oldham club officials are offering full refunds on 2010-11 season
tickets if England wins World Cup 2010 in South Africa.

It’s a nice gimmick. Or perhaps it’s a desperate measure for a club
that is already slashing ticket prices for matches this season.

Regardless, it will mean there’s more on the line than a nation’s 44-
year drought on the line for some fans during World Cup this summer.

To participate in the offer, the season tickets must be purchased by
May 29.

Cute idea. Don’t think they’ll have to worry about it, of course. The English will go out on PK’s in the quarters, of course.
