Kaka

Short Bio

Ricardo Izecson dos Santos Leite (born on April 22, 1982) is extremely popular in the football world as Kaka. His football career basically started back when he was eight and played for a local football team. Tennis was another passion of his but at the age of 15, he decided to focus exclusively on football and joined Sao Paulo FC (his first contract as a professional player).

After the world became aware of his talent, AC Milan paid €8.5 million for him and Kaka’s contact with the European football scene was definitely impressive. He won two important awards in 2007: FIFA World Player of the Year and Ballon d'Or. Manchester city offered more than £100 million for him in 2009 but he ended up sealing the deal with Real Madrid (the team he’s currently paying for). Also known for his generosity (the youngest ambassador of the World Food Programme in 2004), Kaka has proven that hard work and a pure heart can and will get you far.
