Didier Drogba

Short Bio

Didier Drogba was born on March 11, 1978, in Abidjan. Being a youngster of limited means, he had nothing given to him, and was forced to struggle and work hard for everything he has ever achieved. His family sacrificed to give him the proper education he needed, despite living in such a harsh environment

Didier moved to France later on to live with his uncle, who was a professional Football striker. His uncle got him started on the joys of football, and he helped Didier become a fantastic striker at a very young age.  By the age of 17, he was playing first squad for the team that played in the fourth French division. It was at this time that he was offered a contract by Le Mans, and he immediately accepted it.  From there on, the rest was history.
