Just a minute before that incident, Wheelan barged in on Fab unnecessarily leaving him sprawled on the ground. It was a simple reciprocation in a game that was marred by excessive roughness and that horror tackle. You just have to show some players that their ruthlessness can be matched even by 'softer' teams like Arsenal. I was glad he asked Pulis to shut up. Pulis can't take what he asks his team to dish out. Off topic... Alex Song must be the most unluckiest player to get so many yellow cards for fouls that everyone else gets away with. Seeing what's happened to some of his teammates, I'd probably want to lay people open left and right. He said that there was nothing wrong with the tackle, that it was a 50-50 ball. When Nick Webster tried to point out that the tackle was a unnecessary, Wynalda yelled at him to "STOP IT!" I lost what little respect I had for the man in that moment. It was crass and despicable to not only take-up for Ryan Shawcross, but it was frankly embarrassing to see him mock his co-host like that.
